What is Meta CAPI, in simple words?

Meta CAPI (Conversions API) is a direct line from your CRM to Facebook. When a lead becomes qualified or buys, HemLead tells Facebook. Facebook then shows your ads to more people like the ones who actually bought, not just people who fill forms.

Do I need a developer or any code?

No. You connect Facebook in HemLead with one button, then switch on "Help Facebook find buyers". There is no code to add to your website.

Which updates does Facebook get?

You choose. Each pipeline stage, such as Contacted, Qualified, Proposal or Won, can send its own update to Facebook. You can also send the deal value with an update, for example when a lead is Won.

Is my customers' data safe?

Yes. Email addresses and phone numbers are hashed (scrambled) before they are sent, so Facebook can match the lead without seeing the raw details.

Does Meta CAPI cost extra?

How do I know Facebook received the updates?

Yes. Advanced settings show the Pixel HemLead uses, test events and the activity log. If you only want to send results to Facebook, you can connect with your Pixel ID instead.
